What began as a passion for flooring and tile, led by Sable and her husband Daniel, has grown into a fully immersive design experience – offering interior design, 3d architectural planning, product curation, and creative development — all showcased under one roof.
Our studio and showroom are the physical expressions of our philosophy. They are curated experiences — places where clients can interact with everything from flooring, tile, and carpet to custom cabinetry, furniture, wallpaper, lighting, fixtures, and more. Every element reflects our dedication to craftsmanship, thoughtful sourcing, and refined design. We can oversee every detail — from initial concept to construction, and final furnishings. Whether building from the ground up or reimagining an existing space, we bring everything together under one roof: one team, one creative vision, one seamless process.

Meet Sable — Founder, Design District
The Brains, the Vibe, the Force Behind the Start of It All
Sable is the kind of person you just want to be around — equal parts cool, raw, and ridiculously sharp. With a background in aerospace engineering (yes, really), she brings structural smarts and fearless precision to everything she touches — then layers it with edgy, unapologetic design talent that stops you in your tracks.She doesn’t just think outside the box — she throws it out the window mid-flight. Quite literally, she designs in the air, on the move, wherever inspiration hits. Sable is the spark that brought this team together, the one who stirs the pot, pushes the vision, and somehow keeps it all grounded with her business instinct and off-the-charts design eye. Tattoos, swagger, that infectious laugh — Sable doesn’t follow the rules. She writes new ones. And lucky us, we get to build alongside her.
Meet Ally — Our Studio Manager
Vibe Curator, and Vendor Wrangler Extraordinaire
Ally isn’t just the one who pays the bills — she’s the one who makes sure we do it all with style. With her signature funky glasses, fearless personality, and corporate-world sharpness, Ally brings a whole lot more than numbers to the table. She’s the first to track you down for a missing receipt (and you will hand it over), the one keeping vendors in line, and the unofficial fashion icon of the office. Cool, collected, and never afraid to speak up, she keeps the chaos organized and the energy high — all while making it look effortless. This isn’t her first career, but it might be her coolest. We count on her to keep us buttoned up, dialed in, and unapologetically fabulous. Honestly, we’re all just trying to keep up.DD wouldn’t run — or look this good — without her.
Daniel - Founder, Design District
Meet Daniel — The Man Under Every Floor Daniel shows up. Always. Tape measure in hand, dust in his boots, eyes scanning the bones of the room. He doesn’t chase perfection—he’s too busy making things real. He walks every site, calls out what’s wrong, what’s right, what needs brute force or finesse. And almost always? He comes back with more work for us—because once he sees potential, he knows it can be turned into something worth standing on. People trust Daniel because he’s earned that trust. Decades in flooring, tile, carpet — he’s felt every squeak, every settlement, every pattern that looks good on paper and every one that falls apart in real life. He’s the guy contractors want, clients rely on. Between Sable’s obsession for the near‑perfect detail and Daniel’s grounded, get‑your‑hands‑dirty realism, they balance the studio. He brings durability, rough edges, structure. He makes sure things last beyond the showroom shot. When the dust settles, the grout dries, and the first footsteps echo—that’s when you’ll see Daniel’s work speak loudest.

Together, we’re a one-stop shop — architecture, interiors, materials, and that extra spark most firms only wish they had. We’re not here to follow trends. Shannon - Lead Designer, Showroom Specialist
As one of Design District's OG's, I have the pleasure of doing a little bit of everything here at our happy design center. I spend the large part of my day working with our amazing clients helping them to bring together spaces that feel personal, unique and beautiful. The joy of seeing a project go from a few samples spread out on a table to a space that is loved gives me goosebumps. As a former yoga instructor, I think wellness comes in all forms. Having a home that you love and love to share with friends and family is the ultimate foundation of a healthy happy life. I love coming to work each day because the diverse crew of talented individuals I work with feel like family. They inspire me and most importantly make me laugh every day. When not in the office I earn my nickname of Krogi the Yogi, enjoy traveling, cooking, and happen to be obsessed with dogs. My husband and I are headed down the home stretch to being empty-nesters. We have two wonderful daughters, one in college and the other headed there soon.
I'm really best known for eating double lunches, resurrecting clothes from decades ago, being the backup to the backup forklift operator, having over 2,500 photos of my cats (Sophia & Jonathan) on my phone, and greeting the office with "Buongiorno!" every single morning. My favorite part of working at DD: Well, first let me tell you a joke. So...a Brazilian, a cop, a Harry Potter fanatic, a yogi, a lady-boss, an architect, a former rockstar, and a pair of restaurateurs all walk into a bar... Wait. That's not a joke. Those are the people I work with and they're by far the best part of working at The District. I have two teen boys, Cole and Dax, and I spend my paychecks attempting to keep their tummies full, which both fuels my passion for cooking, while ironically killing all desire to ever cook again. I love laughing. I love sneezing, q-tips and cat reels. I love my massive family and my worldwide network of friends, and gosh darnit, I love my country. One day I'd like to gather up all the thousands of photographs I've taken and line them up with the haphazard pieces of writing I've done over the years and create quirky coffee table books.
